Holland hand Russia 4-1 drubbing

New Delhi: Netherlands registered a comprehensive win over Russia in an international friendly on Wednesday, beating them 4-1.

Neither team scored till the 68th minute. Holland opened with Ryan Babel netting the first goal.

Four minutes later, the Russian defence failed to stop a shot by Wesley Sneijder.

Russia tried to come back with Vladimir Bystrov scoring in the 77th minute.

But it just got better for the Netherlands, with Joris Mathijsen scoring the third goal.

And then the final nail in the coffin. Dennis Kolodin scored off a penalty for Netherlands to win the game 4-1.
