Lviv: Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he was angry with himself for missing some glorious opportunities in Portugal's 3-2 victory over Denmark.
Ronaldo missed a few chances, including a notable one-on-one which could have comfortably sealed the points when they were 2-1 up with just over 10 minutes to go, only to see Nicklas Bendtner equalise moments later before Silvestre Varela secured three points late-on.
"Yes, maybe I demonstrated I was angry at myself [after missing chances]," Ronaldo told Sport TV. "I could have done better with the chances I had, but the important thing is that we are still in the race. Now we have to win our next match.
"When we were winning 2-0, we thought the game was practically in our hands. We had to score a third to kill off the game but we could not do it.
"We had a lot of difficulties but in the end we had the luck that we did not have against Germany, and we were able to win."
