I-League: Postponed Mumbai games to be played next month
Two games were postponed due to the Mumbai terror attacks.

New Delhi: Two 11th round I-League home matches of Mumbai FC and Mahindra United which were postponed due to the terror attacks on the economic capital of India, are likely to played on the 19 and 20 of next month.

Mahindra United were to play Dempo SC on November 29 while Mumbai FC would have squared up against Mohammedan Sporting on the following day. The city of Mumbai was attacked at 11 locations, most of which were not far from the Cooperage Stadium.

Speaking to Goal.com, Western India Football Association (WIFA) assistant secretary Wali Mohamed said, "The dates for the matches have been tentatively fixed for 19th and 20th January. We have given the confirmation from our side to the All India Football Federation (AIFF)."

Mumbai FC general manager Henry Menezes confirmed the same and stated, "We would host Mohammedan Sporting on January 20th while Mahindra shall play the day before."

The last I-League action Mumbai saw was the thrilling 3-2 victory of Mumbai FC over JCT on November 26th, the day when Mumbai got attacked.
