NorthEast United FC's Zohmingliana Ralte was unlucky as he scored an own goal in the 73rd minute to put his team behind against FC Pune City.

Kalu Uche uses his body to win the ball in the air, he turns and has the space to get his shot in. Waste of an effort as his shot is fired straight into the arms of Gennaro Bracigliano.

83 mins: Nicolas Velez twists and turns to make his way into the penalty box. He gets to the byline and cuts the ball in but it is cleared behind for a corner. The resulting corner is harmless. Good work by Nicolas Velez initially to win the corner.

Zohmingliana Ralte has put the ball into the back of his own net! The ball was swung into a crowded penalty box and it was deflected into the back of the net by Zohmingliana Ralte. Unlucky for the defender but he has put his team behind.

67 mins: Fanai Lalrempuia goes in too hard as he went for the ball and in the process brings Siam Hanghal down. The referee awards NorthEast United FC a freekick in their own half.

62 mins: Two goal Tuncay comes in and it is Marquee player Adrian Mutu who has to make way.

55 mins: Sushanth comes on to replace Israil Gurung.

52 mins: Francis Dadzie goes for a left footed shot from outside the box after it was chested in his path by Nicolas Velez. Roger Johnson was at the right place to get the block in, that was shot with power and was also on target. Terrific block by the defender.

Second half kicks off. The second half has kicked off and it looks like the managers have not made any changes during the half-time break.

Adrian Mutu is freed and the striker is through on goal. He decides to take it first time with his left foot but the shot lacks any power. Easy save for the keeper there.

Sanju Pradhan gets a good chance to put his team ahead. The ball falls kindly to him but he can only head it wide. The game has been paused so that the players can hydrate themselves.

34 mins: After having to do most of the work in their own half, Pune finally get the chance to attack. Fanai Lalrempuia crosses the ball into the box but it results in a throw in on the other flank. The resulting throw in draws a shot from Gurung which is blocked by Zohmingliana Ralte. Good chance for the home team, can that shift the momentum into their favour?

28 mins: Manish Maithani takes no risks as he clears the ball out for a throw-in when it falls to him in the penalty box. Good no-nonsense defending there by the Indian.

24 mins: The attack index for the first period belongs to the home team. FC Pune City lead with 73% against the 27% of NorthEast United FC.

19 mins: Manish Maithani brings Nicolas Velez down outside the box with a bad challenge. As a result, the striker has blood trickling from his chin and goes out for treatment.

11 mins: Adrian Mutu fies in a shot from inside the box and it was on target. However, the keeper gets a hand to it and concedes a corner.

5 mins: NorthEast United FC win a corner in just the third minute but fail to make it count. The corner was swung into the box but headed out of danger.

3 mins: Straightaway the phisicality of the game comes into play as Didier Zokora brings Silas down with a rash challenge.

6:55pm: A big change made by David Platt as he starts his Marquee player Adrian Mutu up front instead of the Hero of the last game - Tuncay Sanli. He will be partnered by Yendrick Ruiz and Israil Gurung in an attacking 4-3-3 formation. The latter was involved in all three FC Pune City goals against Mumbai City FC. Skipper Zokora will play behind the two central midfielders and his role will be to shield the defence as well as give the midfielders license to go further forward.

6:45pm: The Highlanders will be sticking to a more conventional 4-4-2 formation. Nicolas Velez and Francis Dadzie will partner up front with Sanju and Silas providing the width.

6:15pm: FC Pune City haven’t lost against NorthEast United FC, winning their home encounter 1-0 while the away match ended in a 0-0 draw, in season 1 of the ISL. The Highlanders would be desperate to turn things around and would be looking to score against the Pune side whereas Pune will be looking for a repeat performance from the first game.

After a winning start to the second season of the Indian Super League, a confident FC Pune City will aim to hold on to their form when they face NorthEast United FC at the Balewadi Stadium on Friday.

Pune got their campaign off to the best possible start in the second season with a 3-1 win over arch-rivals Mumbai City FC in the Maharashtra derby at home on Monday.

The following day NorthEast United FC had suffered a 1-3 loss in their first match at the hands of Kerala Blasters FC in an away match.
