After Wigan forward Shaun Maloney equalised midfielder Anthony Pilkington's opener, Hoolahan struck to give Norwich their fifth straight home win.
Norwich: Norwich extended their unbeaten run in the English Premier League to 10 games by beating Wigan 2-1 from Wes Hoolahan's second-half winning goal on Saturday. After Wigan forward Shaun Maloney equalised in the 51st minute to cancel out midfielder Anthony Pilkington's 15th-minute opener, Hoolahan struck in the 64th to give Norwich their fifth straight home win in the league at Carrow Road.
Norwich haven't lost in the league since going down 4-1 at Chelsea on October 6. Norwich provisionally rose five places to seventh in the standings, two points from the last Champions League place in manager Chris Hughton's first season at the club.
Wigan have only one win in their past seven league matches to remain in 18th spot in the standings.
