Barcelona: Speculations surrounding the transfer of high-profile Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara got further fueled on Wednesday when Spanish radio network COPE claimed that the player has agreed deal with Champions League winners Bayern Munich.
According to COPE's sports show 'The Twelve O'clock Match', Barcelona have decided to accept Bayern's offer after a conversation between Thiago and Bayern's new coach Pep Guardiola, who is also a former Barca coach.
Based on COPE's claims, Spanish daily Marca has reported that Thiago will cost 4 million euros per season. The player was reportedly convinced by Guardiola after he raised concerns about too many midfielders in the Bayern squad.
While this may not be the end of the Thiago tale, the news of the youngster deciding to move anywhere else other than Old Trafford will put Manchester United on alert.
