Real Madrid are set to have talks with their unhappy striker Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports.
The Spanish giants’ president Florentino Perez is expected to meet the Portuguese on Wednesday to sort out the matter for once and all. Apparently, Real want to keep their goal-scoring machine for life but they still want to have a showdown with the player over his comments about being unhappy at the club.
Ever since Ronaldo's admission, speculation is rife as to what could be behind his unhappiness but the striker has categorically denied that it’s money. He also said the club hierarchy knows his problems and that despite the situation he will give his best for the club.
Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has given a new twist to the story, saying he will welcome back the striker to Old Trafford if he decides to leave Santiago Bernabeu.
Whatever may be outcome of the meeting, it’s clear that something is terribly wrong and if it’s not sorted out soon, Ronaldo’s days at the legendary club are numbered.
