With Ryan Reynolds’s upcoming film ‘Deadpool 3’ nearing its release, the actor has teased fans with a new photo of him donning the superhero costume. The ace Hollywood actor on December 30, looked back over the year and took to the micro-blogging site Instagram to share some of his cherished moments from the year 2023. The actor in the final photo slipped his new look wearing the Deadpool costume without the face mask in the process.

“Thank you, 2023 part 1. In no real order. I got to spend most of the year working and playing with the people I [love],” he captioned, sharing the series of pictures.

Originally, Deadpool 3 was scheduled to release on May 3, 2024, but due to the actors’ strike, the movie faced an unexpected hurdle, and the filming of Shawn Levy’s film was abruptly halted. The film was already midway through production, but they were forced to stop after July 2023. Despite the setback, fans are highly anticipating the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film, and the makers are planning to shoot the remaining portions in the coming weeks.

Other than Deadpool 3, the actor has John Krasinski’s directorial IF in the pipeline opposite Cailey Fleming. He also has Animal friends on his plate. Directed by Peter Atencio, the film also stars Jason Momoa and Vince Vaughn in leads. Ryan Reynolds will also be seen sharing the screen space with Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot in the sequel of Red Notice 2 which will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
