This wikiHow teaches you how to view the YouTube videos you’ve set to private when using an iPhone or iPad. You’ll also learn how to access someone else’s private video if you have the URL.
Viewing Your Own Private Videos
Open YouTube on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the white icon with a red rectangle and white triangle inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
Tap Library. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Tap My Videos. A list of all of your video uploads will appear.
Scroll down to a video with a padlock icon. This icon only appears on videos marked as private.
Tap the video to open it. You can now watch your private video.
Viewing Someone Else’s Private Video
Ask the owner for the URL. You’ll need the direct URL to the video to view it.
Tap the URL. This opens the video in YouTube.
