Open Telegram on your Mac or PC. It’s in the Applications folder on a Mac, and in the All Apps section of the Start menu on Windows.
Type pollbot into the “Search” box. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.
Press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. A list of search results will appear.
Click PollBot. It should be the first search result. This opens a conversation with PollBot.
Click Start. It’s at the bottom of the conversation.
Type /newpoll and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. PollBot will ask for the poll question.
Type the poll question and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. PollBot will ask for the first possible option/answer.
Type an option/answer and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return.
Enter additional options/answers as necessary. You can add as many possible answers as you wish. When you’re finished adding all possible choices, move to the next step.
Press /done. The poll is now created and a link will appear in the conversation.
Share the link with Telegram users. Copy the URL by highlighting it and pressing Ctrl+C (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+C (macOS). Then, paste it into conversations and groups by pressing Ctrl+V (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+V (macOS). Users can now cast their votes.
