How to Look and Act Like a Disney Princess
How to Look and Act Like a Disney Princess
Many girls have Disney princesses as their role models. They are brave, strong, kind-hearted and are good inside. It is recommended to be yourself, but if they are your role models--- well, it is okay to take inspiration from them! You can incorporate a bit of Disney magic in your daily life. Just be friendly, nice, courageous and act like you are in fact a member of royalty. Because all the girls are princesses. The Disney Princesses are true beauties, inside and out. By following these guidelines, you can become your own unique version of a Disney Princess!
Steps

Working on The Look

Take care of your skin. Disney princesses have acne-free skin, so develop a good skincare routine to keep your skin and face looking their best. You don't need to be pale-skinned to be a Disney princess. Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, and Moana are examples of Disney princesses who aren't white.

Keep your hair healthy and neat. The length doesn't matter so much, since some princesses have long and some have short hair, but make sure that you take care of it. Enhancing your color is okay, as many of the princesses, such as Ariel, have eye-popping color that is very hard to have naturally. You can have it in any length or style you like, as the princesses all have different hair.

Makeup can enhance your look. Pick one or two features you love and play them up with some light makeup if you wish. Don't wear a ton of makeup: just enough to show off your best features. This means that if you have long eyelashes, wear a little mascara to make them darker, or if you really like the way your lips look, wear a little lipstick to draw people's attention to them.

Show off your natural beauty. Everyone has natural beauty, but you can do things to make yours even better. Take care of yourself. Make sure to get enough sleep and keep up good hygiene for a natural glow.

Stay in shape. All of the princesses are slender and proportioned. However, since they are cartoon characters, don't feel like it is necessary to starve yourself to meet impossible images. In fact, the body shapes of the Disney princesses are often impossible to have in real life. So, instead of trying to imitate their unhealthy body shapes, just try to be the healthiest version of your unique body shape. This will make you feel and therefore look confident! If you're looking for a new type of exercise, try something graceful like dance, as grace is a crucial part of embodying the Disney Princess look.

Be creative with colors. As for your clothing, don't feel the need to change much from what you already have. After all, Cinderella was able to transform an old dress into something new, and Ariel was able to make a dress out of an old sail. Feel free to be crafty and creative with your clothing style. Also, try to add color to your outfits! Each princess has their own "color" that they wear that looks simply magnificent on them. For Cinderella, it's light blue; for Belle, it's bright yellow; for Tiana, it's light green, etc. Find your color- one that complements your hair color, skin-tone, and/or eyes- and incorporate it into your wardrobe any way possible. Your color should be cheery, pretty and bright. Wearing the color you chose should make you feel perky.

Accessorize wisely. When choosing accessories, think cute and feminine. Rhinestones, pearls, and lace add a nice touch. Add accessories to your hair often, such as a flower or a pretty hair ribbon.

Have a "princess" dress. Have a dress for fancy occasions that you put on and feel like a million bucks. But, that doesn't mean the dress has to cost a million bucks! The price of the dress doesn't matter: what does matter is how much you like it. Every Disney Princess has that dress that catches the eye of her prince and everyone else in the room. However, this dress must be classy. It should preferably be longer and cover up all areas that should be covered. There are several different styles, so find the one that flatters you and makes you feel wonderful.

The Attitude

Maintain good manners. Practice the most proper etiquette you can imagine. Always say please and thank you, even when you are ordering food at a fast food restaurant. Be sure to have good dinner table etiquette as well. When meeting someone new, shake their hand and tell them what a pleasure it is to meet them. Also, for an added touch, find something you like about them, such as their hair or smile, and pay them a compliment!

Be optimistic. Do your best to keep a smile on your face wherever you go. Obviously, if something very sad, angering, e.t.c. has happened, you are not expected to be fake. But for the most part, just smile. It doesn't have to be big or cheesy, but pleasant. After all, Disney Princesses are well-known for their optimism, so show off your own!

Have good posture. Walk as if a string is pulling your head and shoulders up. Posture says so much about a person, so make sure it is saying the right thing! Keep excellent posture and step lightly wherever you go. Nothing says princess more!

Be engaging! When talking to others, look them in the eye. Listen to what they have to say. Most of the princesses have many royal subjects, and they listen to each and every one.

Remember to respect for yourself and others. Be sure that your politeness is not taken advantage of, and always stand up for what you believe in. Also, respect others, even if it is not "cool". If someone is being bullied, stand up for them!

Be smart. Although your inner and outer beauty may attract gentleman callers, remember to don’t be a huge flirt, as Belle was when dealing with Gaston. Disney princesses will eventually find their prince, but it doesn't happen overnight! Don't settle for someone who isn't your dream guy.

Be a good role model. This is both for kids and those your age. All of the princesses have admirable qualities that teach young girls how to be young ladies. Although everyone makes mistakes, do your best to keep a clean image for children to look up to! Don't do anything you wouldn't want a three year old child knowing about.

Volunteer. Nothing shows true goodness than dedicating time and energy to help someone else. Find something that interests you. Ariel would help clean up the beach. Belle would volunteer at a library. Cinderella would help at an animal shelter. Enjoy your volunteer work.

Be sweet. All Disney Princesses are sweet, yes, also Merida and Mulan! That don’t means you need be a damsel in distress or shy!

Be affectionate. Greet your friends and parents, show your emotions and give a big hug, sometimes!

Enjoy being a princess. Being a Disney Princess doesn't just come from a crown. It comes from the beautiful spirit within. Now go out there and show everyone the wonderful princess you are!

[Be fun!] princesses may be busy but they always have time for a party.

What's your reaction?
