How to Send Your Name to Space
Space is often thought to be reserved for only the government or the ultra-rich. While that is mostly true, we can still send a part of ourselves to space, our name. Many space agencies, such as NASA in the United States, allow us to send our names up in their spacecraft when they launch. This isn't always obvious. Luckily, all of the ways that you can send your name up, and how to do so, listed in this article. For more information, continue below!

Please note that this article will be updated from time to time as new opportunities become available and old ones close. Feel free to check back from time to time to see if there are any new updates.
Steps

Navigate to the registration page.

Provide your first and last name. These are both required, but you can use a pseudonym. Also, nobody but NASA will be able to see your name.

Select your country. Click on the "COUNTRY" drop down box, and then select your country of residence. This is required.

Click on the "POSTAL CODE" textbox and type in your postal/ZIP code. This is required.

Type in your email address. This is not required, but it is recommended. You will need your email address if you want to be able to retrieve your boarding pass or log into your frequent flyer account.

Decide if you want to receive NASA's Newsletter. NASA regularly sends emails about the latest news in space and at NASA through their newsletter. If you are interested in receiving this newsletter, check the box. If you are not interested, then make sure the box is not checked.

Click "SEND MY NAME TO MARS". This will register your name, and it will be sent along with the next spacecrafts that goes to Mars. Also, the image of your ticket will come up, and you will be able to save or print it if you'd like. You may have to solve a CAPTCHA.
