Pawan Kalyan Appoints Bunny Vasu As Jana Sena's Campaign Chief

Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has appointed Telugu producer Bunny Vasu as the chief of his party’s campaign department. He handed over the appointment letter to Bunny on December 14, Thursday at the Jana Sena party’s headquarters in Mangalagiri. Pawan told the press that the campaign department is crucial for the party. Pawan Kalyan also advised Bunny to lead the department in a coordinated manner. He said that Bunny should make the aspirations of the party reach the public. Pawan Kalyan also said that innovative programs should be designed for the victory of the party in the upcoming elections. The Bro actor congratulated Bunny and stated that he should work harder for the growth of the party.

Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena had drawn a blank in the 2023 Telangana elections. The party faced defeat in all the 8 seats it contested and lost its deposits as well. This happened despite the Jana Sena chief’s extensive election tour. Jana Sena had contested the polls in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party could make its presence felt only in the Kukatpally seat. As per the political analysts, there were a lot of reasons for the defeat of the party. Some of them are lacking noteworthy candidates in the party. Also, there is a perception of Jana Sena as the Andhra Pradesh-centric party only. All these reasons culminated in the defeat of the Jana Sena.

Pawan Kalyan has also struck a new low when it comes to his performance in films. His last released movies Bro and Bheemla Nayak had tanked at the box office. Fans have also been disappointed with his choice of films of late. His fans opined on social media that Pawan should turn to acting in films with original storylines. According to reports, he has tried to take a safer route (by doing remakes) only after the release of his film Agnyaathavaasi – Prince in Exile. It is because, reportedly, remakes have fewer risks of failing at the box office. Currently, among the films Pawan Kalyan has in the pipeline, only Hari Hara Veera Mallu is based on an original theme.
