The accident occurred when the Mathura-bound passenger train from Kasganj hit the tractor at an unmanned crossing between Sonai and Raya stations.
"One person has been killed while two others have been injured in the train accident that took place near village Pirsua," SSP Nitin Tewari said.
While tractor driver Pappu (20) died on the spot, two others received injuries. The injured have been admitted to a hospital.
The train resumed its journey an hour later after the track was cleared.
