Thiruvananthapuram : A total of 18 political murders have taken place in Kerala after the Congress-led UDF Government came to power in May 2011, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala informed the Assembly on Thursday.
In a written reply, he said nine victims were either CPI(M) workers or party sympathizers and accused in these cases included activists of both BJP and Congress.
Other deceased included five BJP-RSS workers, two activists of Indian Union Muslim league and the leader of Revolutionary Marxist Party T P Chandrasekheran.
