23 file nominations for GHMC standing committee

HYDERABAD: A total 23 corporators from different political parties and independent candidates filed their nominations for the GHMC Standing Committee polls. Wednesday was the last day for filing of nominations.The elections for the 15 committee posts will be held on June 8.Mansoor Bin Mohd Awalgi, Khaja Bilal Ahmed, Syed Abdul Haq Nazeer,  Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi, MA Gaffar, Md Zakir Baqueri, B Ravi Yadav, all of the MIM, filed their nominations.Ranjana Devi Goel, G Raj Kumar, Gottimukkala Vengal Rao, Ravula Sheshagiri, K Jagan, AR Prasanna Kumari, GM Ratna Kumari, B Chandramma, Ale Jeetendra, R Kalpana Yadav and Nemali Suresh of the Congress, alos filed their nominations.Kotha Rama Rao and Muta Padma filed nominations on behalf of the Telugu Desam (TDP), while Sahadev Yadav filed nomination on behalf of the BJP. Two independent candidates, Diddi Rambabu and Singireddy Dhanpal Reddy also filed their nominations.
