WARANGAL: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA T Harish Rao has said that in Parkal bypolls, people will teach a befitting lesson to the Konda couple who injured the sentiments of Telangana people.The TRS leaders organised a programme here on Monday marking the second anniversary of Mahabubabad incident, wherein police opened fire at Telangana supporters when they opposed YS Jagan’s tour to the place on May 28, 2010.They performed pooja to stones brought from Mahabubabad railway station at the party office. Harish Rao reminded that Telangana people retaliated to the bullets with stones. He said that the stone in Mahabubabad had magical powers. “Anti-social elements will not enter into villages if these stones are worshipped in every village,” he said. Two years after Mahabubabad people rejected Jagan’s entry into Telangana, the YSRC leader has been arrested by the CBI, he pointed out and said it was due to the curse of the mothers of youths who were injured in Mahabubabad firing. Party MLAs D Vinay Bhaskar, Dr T Rajaiah and others took part.
