3 commit suicide in separate incidents

HYDERABAD: Three persons, including a degree graduate and newlywed woman, ended their lives in separate incidents since Wednesday night.
A degree graduate ended his life after being reprimanded by his father for not getting a job after his studies. The deceased, Mahender (22) was a resident of Moinabad and completed his degree last year. Though Mahender tried to get a job, he failed in his efforts. Mahender's father, Balaiah reportedly chided him for not putting enough efforts to secure a job on Wednesday night. Depressed over this, Mahender left the house and his body was found in Gandipet lake on Thursday. Narsingi police registered a case of suspicious death and are investigating. Police suspect Mahender might have committed suicide.In another incident, a newly wed woman hanged herself to death at her house on Thursday. Pavani (28) was married to Arvind, a private employee from Aliabad five months back. On Thursday morning Arvind left for office and Pavani was alone in the house. In the afternoon, neighbours noticed Pavani hanging in the house and alerted police. In a suicide note purportedly left behind by Pavani, she held no one responsible for her death. "My husband is not responsible for my death. I am ending my life on my own,'' she wrote. A case of suspicious death was registered and investigation is on.
