VIJAYAWADA: The 4th World Telugu Conference will be organised by the Mauritius government at Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture (IGCIC), Phoenix from December 8 to 11, World Telugu Conference coordinator Mandali Buddha Prasad has said.Speaking to the media here on Friday, Buddha Prasad said this will be the third time the Mauritius government is organising the conference.The three-day conference will be organised in collaboration with several Telugu associations and the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University.As part of the conference, seminars and debates will be held on various topics including language, culture, traditions, arts, and commercial relations between India and Mauritius.Telugu people in Mauritius lead by A Chakrapani, chairman of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council will organise a huge rally on December 11, he said.A delegation including ministers, scholars and other dignitaries from the state led by C Damodar Raja Narasimha, dy chief minister of AP will attend the conference.Tourism minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar will lead a group, which will perform various cultural programmes at the programme, he said.
