In Karnataka, there were four centres for the IIT-JEE- Bangalore, Belgaum, Mangalore and Mysore.A common rank list of candidates who score at least 10 pr cent in each subject and 35 per cent in aggregate will be prepared. The results will be declared on May 18.Seshadri L, a candidate,  said,  “No question had a straightforward answer, which is very much like the expected IIT paper. The questions tested your knowledge. The paper was easy if you knew your concepts. It was tough,” he said.Prof N Chidanand from BASE, a Bangalore-based coaching centre, said t the papers  moderately difficult. “The Physics paper was moderate compared to Chemistry and Mathematics. The numerical problems were lengthy,” he said. This year’s IIT-JEE would be the last entrance examination as the Ministry of HRD is all set to introduce a common, national level entrance test called Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET) from 2013.
