KOCHI: Children are always confused on what to choose as their future career. Whether to become a engineer, doctor, teacher, pilot, sportsman, writer, scientist, criminologist, biotechnologist, dancer, painter,…, the list goes on. In a bid to set to rest the endless confusion of school students and help them choose the right vocation the state government has come up with an online aptitude test.In the one-and-half-hour long test, each of the students will be scientifically analysed based on their aptitude and their tastes. After the analysis, their characteristics and interests will be taken up to recommend a career or higher education suitable to their personality. The examination will be conducted online at www.sietkerala.gov.in. The students can take the test both in English and in Malayalam from anywhere in the country. The results will be sent by e-mail, five days after appearing for the test. Interested students can register before May 21 and pay an amount of `100 through DD.
