BALANGIR: An orphan, Anjulata has been running from one police station to another to lodge a complaint against her employer for the last two days. The 11-year-old was allegedly abused at her workplace.She was working as a maid in Titlagarh.After Anjulata escaped from the clutches of her employer, she sought help at a dhaba. They took her to Muribahal BDO. “He asked me to lodge a complaint with Bangomunda police station.But officers there asked me to report the matter to Titlagarh police,” she said. She has injury marks on her elbow and hands.Anjulata is a native of Chitramunda village under Muribahal block.After the mysterious death of her father, she was left behind at her maternal uncle’s house by her mother. It was then that two persons of the village took her to Titlagarh to work as a maid in a house.“We will be interrogating Anjulata’s employer. Meanwhile, we are also looking for options to rehabilitate her,” said Titlagarh IIC Saranga Panigrahi.
