BANGALORE: In a bid to clear her name, actress Haripriya — who was rumoured to be associated with B Y Vijayendra, son of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa — denied that the CBI raided her residence on Wednesday. The actress’ residence in Sadashivanagar was reportedly raided by the CBI on Monday morning.The grapevine has it that Vijayendra had financed her car and residence.“I am fed up of answering people on such queries. No CBI raid was conducted on my house,” she asserted. “A tabloid falsely linked me to Vijayendra. In fact, I demanded from them proof for the same, which they could not and the matter was cleared then,” she added.Haripriya felt that she was targeted as she is a celebrity. “I am upset with such allegations against me,” she said.She continued: “After all the hard work I do to earn a living, I get upset when such allegations are made against me. If the CBI wants to come and raid my house, they are most welcome. I am ready to produce relevant documents to them. I want to end this mess, which is causing anxiety to my family.”
