Adivasi land case: Vigilance seeks more data

PALAKKAD: The Vigilance Department which is inquiring into the purchase of Adivasi land in the Agali and Sholayur villages of Attapadi has called for more documents from Sarjan Realities, the firm which purchased land in Nallasingha Ooru for Suzlon to set up the wind farm.A Vigilance team had inspected over 144 land deals at the sub registrar office in Agali two weeks ago and found discrepancies in 85 land deals.It was in this context that the department had called for more documents from Sarjan Realities.
