Advocate R C Plappally passes away

KOCHI: Ramachandran Plappally, 84, a senior advocate of Ernakulam Bar, passed away on Saturday.Popularly known as R C Plappally in legal fraternity, he was an expert in rent control law.A large number of advocates started their career as his junior.His juniors include a sitting High Court Judge and many judges in lower courts across the state.He is survived by wife Kanakam and daughters Marathakam and Vijayalakshmi.The cremation was held on Saturday evening.
