BANGALORE: Around 100 people staged a protest in front of Pulikeshinagar police station on Sunday evening urging the police to arrest Sudhakar, an advocate, who allegedly assaulted a pastor and her sister.Jayasheela, a pastor at Peace Presbyterian Church and her sister Lathisha were allegedly assaulted by advocate Sudhakar on November 17 and the duo had filed a case in Pulikeshinagar police station in this connection.Jayasheela had reportedly approached Sudhakar to get his legal aid to solve a land dispute case and he was paid Rs 3 lakh for that. But he did not show any interest and Jayasheela asked him to give her money back. Eventually, Sudhakar had assaulted Jayasheela and Latisha at his office. Following this the complaint was registered. As Sudhakar is absconding, the protesters demanded the police for immediate arrest of him. An Assistant Commissioner of Police came to the spot and assured the protesters of suitable action against the advocate. Later, the protest was withdrawn.
