New Delhi: Little news about the whereabouts of their loved ones have forced the families of the Indians abducted from Mosul in Iraq to pay yet another visit to the Ministry of External Affairs.

Sushma Swaraj is expected to meet the aggrieved families on Sunday evening.

Concerned parents are desperately seeking information about their children's whereabouts. "We are going to meet the EAM and try to get some information from the minister. We want our son back. We want to know about our son's well being," said an anxious mother.

Others are looking expectantly toward the government for answers. "We have not got any information yet. We will plead them to bring back my brother who is stranded in Iraq. This is the second time that we are going to meet the EAM. If we do not get any satisfactory response then we will sit in protest at Jantar Mantar," said another distressed relative.

The MEA says that the 39 Indians abducted are safe, but their exact location is unknown. 17 others have been evacuated as the government steps up its efforts to bring those stranded in Iraq, back home.

The External Affairs Ministry reported that it has set up three offices-in Najaf, Karbala and Basra to assist Indians wanting to come back home.
