Ahmedabad: Medicos in Gujarat have decided to continue their anti-quota agitation as the talks between the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and protestors remained inconclusive.
"We have decided to continue to strike work and stay away from the classrooms ," a representative of the students from the B J Medical College said.
"About 60 students from the BJ Medical College have already left for Delhi with representatives of other colleges to participate in anti-quota demostration in New Delhi," he added.
Over 6,000 students are on strike in different cities including Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat and Jamnagar since past two weeks.
Resident doctors in some of the cities including Ahmedabad and Vadodara have also joined strike in the past few days.
