An aircraft with 92 passengers made a precautionary landing in Kolkata to avert a major disaster.
Kolkata: An aircraft on its way from Gaya to Yangoon made an emergency landing at 1320 hours IST on Friday at Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) airport in Kolkata.
The aircraft with 92 passengers had left Kolkata for Yangoon via Gaya, when the crew detected the abnormality with one of the rear tyres.
The aircraft made a precautionary landing in Kolkata airport to avert a major disaster.
The officials have, however, said the flight is expected to leave again late in the afternoon.
