An actress called to say that she loved the way Salman Khan referred to Aishwarya as Ash on a children's dance reality show. Sallu was the celeb guest on the show for the promotions of his film. When one of the kids danced, he thought she had done a better job than what Aishwarya and Madhuri Dixit had done in 'Devdas'. But when he was told that the song was picturised on Kirron Kher and not the actresses, he quickly told the kid that she had still done a better job than Ash!
Isha Sherwani's choreographer rushed to hospital
Isha Sherwani's perfect 10 score every week on dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa' has been attracting a lot of attention. But the starlet has run into bad luck. Her choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan was rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai hospital yesterday due to severe back spasms. He had been complaining of severe neck ache and was busy rehearsing for the show, the shoot for which occurs today. Salman has been told by the doctors to rest. So will Isha have to do her act sans the choreographer? Or will she be unable to dance for the next episode?
Naseeruddin Shah praises Aamir Bashir's film 'Harud'
Naseeruddin Shah recently watched Aamir Bashir's Harud and he was all praise for the independent film. The veteran actor was heard saying after the film's screening at a suburban multiplex, "In India, our so called meaningful films often seem shallow because they are about borrowed pains. Seldom does something as deeply felt and skillfully made as this film come our way. We should be grateful for small mercies." Point noted, sir.
Upen Patel is back in B-Town
After a long gap, we spotted Upen Patel at a fashion event. The model-actor has been missing in action for quite a while. Last heard he was back home in London. Upen who made more news for his link-ups (Amrita Arora, Riya Sen and Shamita Singha) and for his pet dogs who had been left home alone with a maid who did not feed them! That is the past now. So is Upen, who was last seen in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, looking for a fresh innings in B-Town on a clean slate?
