New Delhi: On Day 12 of his fast on Saturday, anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare's health deteriorated as his blood pressure has gone low and he has lost more weight."Annaji's blood pressure is low and he has lost some weight," Dr Naresh Trehan said on Saturday.
Dr Trehan said that Anna's samples have been taken for a blood test and the reports will come by Saturday afternoon.
He said since blood pressure has decreased, they have doubled the number of doctors at the Maidan to attend to him.
Team Anna sources said doctors were really worried and they fear that his internal organs have started getting affected due to the fast.
Hazare has lost more than 7 kgs since August 16 when he sat on a hunger strike for a strong Lokpal Bill.
On Friday night, Trehan said, "There are concerns though his blood pressure and heart beat are okay. He has been asked to take more rest and not to strain himself."
It now remains to be seen whether the Lokpal debate in Parliament on Saturday will see a breakthrough and whether Anna will break his fast.
