Another ashram of Asaram Bapu sealed

An 'ashram' of self-styled godman Asaram Bapu was sealed on Saturday by Jaipur Development Authority as it was encroaching on the government land.

A notice was served to the 'ashram', situated at Goner road here, to vacate the land.

When the encroachment was not removed the 'ashram' was sealed, sources said.

The controversial godman is lodged in the Central Jail in Jodhpur on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl. Two other girls in Surat, who stayed in his Gujarat 'ashram', also accused him of rape.
