HYDERABAD: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu would be summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as part of the probe into his assets. CBI joint director VV Lakshminarayana said that they would issue notice to Chandrababu Naidu to appear before the investigation agency to seek information on allegations levelled against him.
"We are yet to be receive the High Court orders. After receiving the orders, we will send notices to him to appear before the CBI,'' he told newsmen here on Wednesday. It may be recalled that a division bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, comprising justices Ghulam Mohammed and Nooty Ramamohana Rao, while admitting a petition filed by YS Vijayamma, MLA and wife of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, directed the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Securities And Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to investigate the allegations levelled against Chandrababu Naidu and submit report within three months.
