AP: Fire at Srikakulam chemical plant

Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at the Nagarjuna Agrichem Limited plant in Arinama Akkivalasa area of Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district at around 12 noon on Saturday.

While there are no reports of any casualties, 15 people have suffered minor injures and have been admitted to a local hospital.

There were many workers inside the factory when the fire, whose cause is still unknown, broke out and all of theme were rescued. Several fire tenders were sent to the factory to fight the blaze.

Srikakulam DSP Panasareddy said that the fire has been brought under control.
