HYDERABAD: Vexed by the adamance of the TRS and the BJP on contesting the Parakal Assembly byelection, the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has decided to work with no political party in the Telangana region and to show the exit door for its political constituents, particularly the TRS and BJP, for the time being. The TJAC's extended steering committee, which met under the chairmanship of M.Kodandaram here on Tuesday, decided to support whichever political party had the winning chances in the byelection. All constituents of the TJAC attended the meeting. After a four-hour brainstorming session, the TJAC leadership took several key decisions. The intransigence of TRS and BJP became a headache to the TJAC which could not decide whom to support. In the recent Mahbubnagar byelection, the TJAC did not support any political party but the local TJAC backed the BJP helping it win the election.Unable to digest the defeat, the TRS accused TJAC of failure. It boycotted a recent TJAC meeting while the BJP staged a walkout from the meeting in protest against the TRS' attitude. The TJAC held its meeting against this backdrop to take stock of the situation. It decided to appoint a committee under the chairmanship of Mallepally Laxmaiah which would submit a report.'Taking the report and the winning chances into consideration, the TJAC will decide on whom to support in Parkal,' a TJAC leader said. The TJAC appointed another committee led by TNGO leader K Deviprasad to go into the charges levelled by the TRS against the TJAC on the recent Mahabubnagar byelection
