New Delhi: Indian badminton stars Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa have crashed out of Singapore Open Superseries 2011 in the women's double event on Thursday.
Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa went down fighting 21-17 21-14 to their South Korean counterpart Kyung Eun Jung and Ha Na Kim in a match that lasted just 26 minutes.
Olympics Games bronze medallist Parupalli Kashyap also went down against against eighth seed Korea's Park Sung Hwan 21-15 21-14.
In the other matches to be played on Wednesday men's duo of Rupesh Kumar and Sanave Thomas will be in action and ace shuttler Siana Nehwal will face Lan Lu later in the day.
