New Delhi: Joining the phablet war, Asus has unveiled a new 6-inch device named "FonePad Note" at Computex 2013. It has a 6-inch, 1080p IPS+ display and runs Android 4. However, the company has not mentioned the version it runs. It comes with a built-in stylus.
According to The Verge, the FonePad Note has a built-in 3G radio (DC-HSPA+, but no LTE) for voice calls and data. It is engineered with a 1.6GHz Z2560 "Clover Trail" Atom processor and 2GB of RAM. It also includes front-facing stereo speakers.
The device has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. "Shih says that the device will come bundled with some software that takes advantage of the peripheral, so we can expect some memo and annotation apps to be part of the package," reports The Verge.
