Rival factions, belonging to a family, had a dispute on Sunday night over a brawl between children, police said, adding that on Monday morning they attacked each other with lathis and iron rods leading to death of Munni Lal Bind.
Ten others, including the wife of the deceased were injured, of whom seven with serious injuries were referred to hospitals in Varanasi and Allahabad, they said.
An FIR has been filed against five people of opposite faction who are absconding, police added.
