The party has also written a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accusing him of protecting the minister.

Natwar Singh's name figures in the Volcker report, as a beneficiary of kickbacks in the UN Oil-for-Food programme.

Volker report states the payments were to the tune of $748,540 and were made by Jagat Singh?s friend Andleeb Sehgal on behalf of the Swiss firm, Masefield.

Jagat and Sehgal travelled to Jordan around the same time when deposits were made in the Jordon National Bank account.
