BJP team to visit Posco site

BHUBANESWAR: BJP State president Jual Oram on Thursday constituted a 15-member committee to make an on-the-spot assessment of forcible land acquisition by the Government for the Posco’s steel project in Jagatsingpur district. The committee, headed by former minister Bimbadhar Kuanr, will visit the site on June 19 and interact with the affected people. It will submit a report to the party president. The other members of the committee include Nayan Kishore Mohanty, Archana Nayak, Sanchita Mohanty, Bijaylaxmi Mishra, Murli Manohar Sharma, Pruthiraj Harichandan, Sukeshi Oram, Baidhar Mallick, Jiban Sahu, PRR Dash and Lata Dash. The district president and other functionaries of the district committee of the party will accompany the team.
