Brahathreyi Ratna award

PALAKKAD: Vaidyamadom Cheriya Narayanan Namboodiri has been chosen for the P V Rama Warrier memorial Brahathreyi Ratna Award instituted by Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Coimbatore (AVP) Limited in memory of its founder.The award carries Rs 1 lakh and a citation. AVP medical director K G Ravindran, assistant general manager (Operations) Krishnadas Warrier and Dr Indu Lal told mediapersons that the award was given considering his contributions to Ayurveda.The award will be given away at a function to be held at the Vikas auditorium at Shoranur on August 21, 2011.
