New Delhi: Look who have fallen for Shilpa Shetty! The British princes.
According to a British tabloid, Shilpa has been invited to be a guest of honour at the Princess Diana memorial concert this summer simply because Prince William and Harry were impressed with her.
"William and Harry thought Shilpa was amazing in Celebrity Big Brother and very much hope she will take part on the big day," the tabloid quoted British Royalty sources as saying.
Shilpa will join big names such as Elton John at the star-studded show at Wembley at the July 1 concert. William and Harry were really impressed with the way she handled herself on the scandal-packed reality TV show, the tabloid said.
The Bollywood actress, who went on to win the big prize at Celebrity Big Brother last month following a huge controversy over alleged racism against her, was back in London last week to participate in a Zee Carnival at Olympia. She will be in London again on March 11 to attend the Commonwealth Day.
On Friday, Shilpa's spokesman also revealed in London that the Bollywood star has been offered a lead role in the West End musical Chicago, but she is yet to take a decision on the matter.
"Shilpa Shetty was invited to see the musical on Tuesday and she has enjoyed it and its producers have offered her one of the main roles in the musical but she is yet to decide," PTI quoted her spokesman Farhat Hussain as saying.
According to another report, Shilpa is also being lined up to become the first ever face on the new Indian version of fashion magazine Vogue.
