BANGALORE: Two cases - former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa's petition challenging the Lokayukta report on illegal mining and the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) challenging the building bylaws violation by Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda - are likely to come for hearing in the High Court on Monday.Yeddyurappa in the petition has stated that he is gravely aggrieved by his indictment in the Lokayukta report. He has contented that the report "suffers from several legal infirmities and is unsustainable on several grounds", adding that the Lokayukta neither issued notice to him nor was he heard in the matter before his indictment. In the other case, the petitioner K G Nagalakshmi Bai has said that the chief minister was allotted 24.84 guntas at Nelagunte village and had approached the BDA seeking permission to amalgamate the site adjacent to his allotted site which was rejected; the same was communicated to the respondent on September 24, 2009.However, Gowda is said to have gone ahead and constructed a shopping complex in the residential layout against the BDA rules.
