New Delhi: Thousands of MBA aspirants in the country will take the Common Admission Test (CAT) for admissions into the top B-schools of the country, including 13 Indian Institute of Management (IIM) starts on Thursday. CAT 2012 will be conducted between October 11 and November 6 at 61 test centres across 36 cities.

A total of 2,14,068 students have registered for the exam. The country's top business schools including 13 IIM's follow the CAT score for admissions.

The duration of the exam will be 140 minutes. The IIM's first introduced the computer-based test in 2009, doing away with the traditional paper-and-pencil test.
