CBI arrests four for forgery

BALASORE: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths on Thursday arrested four persons from Basta area of Balasore district on forgery charges. They had allegedly helped three of their relatives to avail of loans amounting to ` 5 crore from Bank of Baroda and Syndicate Bank through forged documents.
The arrestees, Nandadulal Jena, Anadi Jena, Sankarsan Jena of Chhanua village and advocate Lambodar Hota, are being interrogated. The prime accused Gaurishankar Jena, his wife Tulasi and son Ganesh are, however, absconding. CBI Inspector Snigdha Bhanj said the arrestees had helped them arrange the forged documents for sanction of loan.
