GADAG: Will celebrities bring sheen to Sriramulu’s ‘Hunger for Answer’, the two-day fast aimed at laying the foundation for the BSR party?Though the party is yet to be launched, speculations are rife that intellectuals, writers, film actors, sports persons, not to forget religious heads, will join hands with Sriramulu.Kannada writer Siddu Yapalparvi, one of the organisers of the event, told Express the fast will provide a platform for discussions on development of north Karnataka, where intellectuals would present their views. “National Muslim leader Mohammed Abu Talib Rehmani of Kolkata, journalist Ravindra Reshme, C S Dwarakanath, tribal expert Balagurumurthy, former minister Raja Amaresh Nayak, former chairman of Wakf Board Khalil Ahmed, former MP K Virupakshappa and heads of various religions will take part,” he added. S H Shivanagoudar, personal assistant to Sriramulu, said that hundreds of celebrities will participate. Many of them have confirmed over phone. “But you will see most of them on Tuesday,” he added.Siddhalinga Swamiji of Tontadarya Mutt clarified to Express that he has not extended his support to the BSR party. “The mutt will neither support any political party nor will it involve itself in politics. I only support Sriramulu’s concern for development of north Karnataka. Hence, I will take part in the valedictory of the event,” he added.
