China, which has become the top trading partner of India, is keen on establishing strong bilateral trade ties with Odisha, a high-level delegation of the Chinese Government said here on Monday.
Tourism and mineral resources are the major sectors with immense opportunities for mutual business relationships. Odisha and China share a strong Buddhist heritage. With the former being a treasure trove of ancient Buddhist sites, the vast untapped potential can be exploited to bring in tourists from China, delegation leader and Deputy Director of China Executive Leadership Academy Dr Li Siling said.
The delegation, which called on Government officials here, also took part in a symposium ‘Doing Business with China’ organised by CII, Odisha Chapter, on Monday. State MSME Secretary NK Sundarray, Industries and MSME Development Institute Directors N Palai and Alok Ray respectively spoke.
