KOCHI: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Thursday submitted before the Kerala High Court that the disciplinary proceedings initiated against one of its group commandants were based on a departmental inquiry.  CISF senior commandant Sathyendra Nath Singh made the submission in an affidavit submitted in response to a petition filed by Shanthi G Jaidev of the CISF headquarters, Kochi, challenging the disciplinary proceedings initiated against her by the CISF.   The petitioner submitted that the move of the authorities against her was without any jurisdiction and in violation of the orders of the Central Government. The CISF decision was with mala fide intentions to delay her legitimate right to be promoted as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), the petitioner said.
