HYDERABAD: A few computers and valuable documents were stolen by unidentified persons from the finance department located in the D-Block of the Secretariat here on Monday. “Around 10.30 am, finance department staff reached their office and before they got into work they found that some computers and PCs, which were installed on their tables, went missing. They alerted initially local security personal. Later, they lodged a complaint with the Saifabad police,’’ K Shanker, detective inspector, said. He said that an employee, Venkateswara Rao, working in the finance department as a senior assistant, lodged a complaint that two PCs and one monitor went missing from their office. “We suspect that the computers might have been stolen by the unidentified persons on Sunday night. Based on the complaint lodged by the officials, we will look into the issue,” he added.
