Advocate-General A Navaneethakrishnan said that the enquiry would be concluded as quickly as possible and if the inspector was found guilty of the charges, appropriate order of punishment would be passed.The bench appreciated the authorities concerned for their swift action taking into consideration  the gravity of the charges.A very fair and transparent enquiry should be conducted against the cop, the bench made it clear, and posted the case after three months to enable the authorities to conclude the enquiry and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.first published:September 18, 2012, 08:24 ISTlast updated:September 18, 2012, 08:24 IST
